Mendota Hills Repower

• Location: Lee County, Illinois
• Client: Leeward Renewable Energy
• Project details: Decommission the existing 63 Gamesa turbines on the 3,400-acre Mendota Hills Wind Farm, replacing with 29 Siemens turbines, increasing capacity from 50 MW to 76 MW
• Operational: March 2019 (original wind farm went online November 2003)
• V&K involvement: Pre-construction ALTA/NSPS Land Title survey, post-construction as-built survey

Lone Tree Wind Farm

• Location: Bureau County, Illinois
• Client: Leeward Renewable Energy
• Project details: 5,600-acre wind farm development with 26 GE turbines generating 80 MW
• Operational: November 2020
• V&K involvement: Pre-construction ALTA/NSPS Land Title survey, O&M boundary survey, post-construction as-built survey
