2024 Storm Sewer Improvement
The project is located on the south side of Garner on Park Avenue at the intersection of Lyon’s Street and Front Street near the north entrance to the GHV School parking lot from 10th Street to Lyon’s Street and on Allen Avenue from 13th Street to Lyon’s Street.
The project includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct approximately 200 LF of 15″ storm sewer including 2 intakes, 100 SY of 6″ PCC pavement, approximately 600 LF of pipe lining and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup.

Water Treatment Plant Imps & Incidental Work
Provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to construct the Water Treatment Plant Improvements including new water treatment plant building, new iron removal filters, new softening equipment, electrical and control equipment; new chemical storage and feeding equipment; new generator equipment and miscellaneous work, and cleanup. The new Water Tower Treatment Plant will be located on a vacant lot at 103 South First Street, near the water tower as shown on the plans. The well electrical work is on city land located north of Main Street and west of N14.

New Fire Station
A new Fire Station building for the City of Dexter, Iowa. The building will be an insulated Pre-Engineered Metal Building construction with vertical metal siding exterior and brick veneer on the south. There are 5 apparatus bays in the south half of the building and the interior shall have liner panels on the walls and ceiling. The north half of the building shall have a training room, kitchen, 2 offices, 2 single user restrooms, storage, mechanical room, and a decontamination room with washer, dryer and shower. The north half of the building shall have stud walls with gyp board finish. There is a 10 ft wide by 10 ft deep by 30 ft tall hose tower, and other miscellaneous work.

Construct 2024 Water Main Improvements including all labor, materials and equipment necessary for approximately 1,640 linear feet of 6-inch pvc water main in open cut or directional bored, hydrant assemblies and valves, pavement removal and replacement, seeding and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup. All materials required for water main construction including pipe, valves, hydrants, fittings, tracer wire, appurtenances and miscellaneous items, will be furnished by the City.
