Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. provides a full range of basin planning and stormwater utility planning. Recent projects include the Squaw Creek Drainage Basin study for the City of Marion and the stormwater drainage evaluation of I 235 for the Iowa Department of Transportation.

Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. has completed the feasibility studies for stormwater utilities for five Iowa communities. Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. was a member of the project team for the development of the Des Moines, Iowa stormwater utility and developed the stormwater utility for the City of Council Bluffs.

Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. provided services to the City of Des Moines on its Phase I Stormwater Utility Permit and continues to provide the annual sampling of stormwater runoff under the Phase I permit. Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. is currently working with the City of Ames and other communities on the implementation of the Phase II Stormwater Permit requirements.
