Recent projects for the planning and evaluation of water supply include our work with the City of Pella to identify a new water supply to supplement its existing supply, and our extensive evaluation of water supply sources for the West Des Moines Water Works.

Recent water treatment facility planning includes our work with the Indianola Municipal Utilities on the development of a new water treatment plant to meet the long term needs of the City of Indianola.

Our planning for water distribution and water storage facilities includes system modeling. Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. currently utilizes the H2O Net model. A recent project for the Burlington Municipal Utilities developed and evaluated approximately 40 alternatives leading to a 20 year plan for water main improvements.
